What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis (trance) to re-train the subconscious (also known as the unconscious) mind to treat psychological problems and change behavioral patterns. During hypnosis, the mind goes into a state of focused concentration, allowing the conscious mind to be briefly by-passed and the subconscious mind to be open to receiving and acting upon verbal suggestions to help alter existing patterns.
