Smoking was something you learned some time ago through repetition and and possibly an underlying motivation (rebelion, looking cool, to be one of the gang etc.) so as it's a learned behaviour, hypnotherapy can unlearn it very quickly with no cravings or side effects unlike some other treatments. You just talk to me about what smoking is for you, then using imagination and relaxation the habit is unlearned while keeping any of the perceived benefits you thought you got from the habit (notice I said perceived) like calming effects etc.
